Trip experience:
- Started from Runway 9, Kompalli, Hyderabad at 8:00am
- Halts after every 30-40km on the way
- Breakfast at Vaibhav Darshini (30-40km from Runway 9) was average.
- The first 120km of the NH7 is awesome. Superb driving experience.
- The 50km after that was average - not so great.
- 170km. Nizamabad. Lunch at Spice Restaurant, at the city entrance was good. Veg was excellent. Non-veg was average.
- Ali Sagar, around 20km from Nizamabad. Small lake. Boating. Speed boating was good.
- Started back around 4pm from Ali Sagar.
- Lot of monkeys on the roads during the first 50km from Nizamabad before reaching the express-way.
- Snacks at a road-side dhaba on highway (50 km to Hyderabad) around 7:30pm. Average to good.
- Reached Hyderabad around 8:30pm.
- No traffic problems in the whole journey except during 6pm and 7pm there were lot of insects in the air which made it necessary to stop and clean the helmet glass every 20-30 minutes and around 8pm one cargo tempo crossed the highway without signaling; missing Srinath and myself narrowly.
